We are now looking to strengthen our service department and are therefore seeking a Service Technician responsible for the Stockholm region. At Westmatic, you will have an independent role with great trust, where you have the opportunity to influence your work and collaborate closely with our customers on technically advanced installations.

About the Role

As a Service Technician, you will work with the service and maintenance of our washing plants, both preventively and in case of urgent needs. The work involves troubleshooting, repairs, and ongoing maintenance at our customers' sites. You will travel between different facilities and plan your assignments independently.

You will also be involved in our quality work and contribute with suggestions for improvements regarding operations and maintenance. The role implies freedom under responsibility in a varied environment. You will be based in Stockholm and surrounding areas, primarily responsible for your region, but you must be open to travel and overnight stays outside the region as well.

The role includes, among other things:

• Performing daily inspections, cleaning, and technical support of our washing plants
• Carrying out service and maintenance work at our customers' sites
• Performing troubleshooting and repairs
• Training customers on our systems
• Identifying customer needs and suggesting relevant products and services
• Receiving and reporting deviations to the immediate supervisor
• Responsible for ongoing time reporting and documentation for invoicing

Who are you?

Since the role involves extensive customer contact, it is important that you are communicative, service-oriented, and trustworthy. You have a professional approach and are driven to create long-term relationships by understanding and meeting customer needs, preferably with the ambition to exceed their expectations.

We prefer that you have:

• High school education in electrical and/or mechanical engineering, or equivalent experience
• At least two years of experience as a service technician, traveling mechanic, or similar
• Experience with control and regulation technology is an asset
• Experience in sales or customer-facing work is a plus
• Good computer skills and the ability to quickly learn new systems
• Class B driver's license
• Good ability to express yourself verbally and in writing in Swedish and English

A probationary period may apply. The goal is for the employment to subsequently become permanent.
